Both players signed with the Celtics last season.

The Miami Heat have hired Phil Weber as head coach of the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

He becomes the 17th head coach in franchise history after serving as a consultant for the Heat since 2012.

Prior to joining the Heat as a consultant, Weber worked as an assistant coach for the New York Knicks (2008-12) and Phoenix Suns (1999-2008).

Sean Marks will return to the San Antonio Spurs' front office as an assistant general manager, the team announced Tuesday.

In addition, Brandon James has been promoted to director of basketball administration and legal affairs, Phil Coles has been hired as director of medical services and Marilyn Adams as director of rehabilitation.

Xavi Schelling joins the Spurs as applied sports scientist and Paul West has been named assistant athletic trainer.

Marks was an assistant coach under Gregg Popovich last season.

The Miami Heat have hired Keith Smart as assistant coach and Chris Quinn as assistant coach/player development.

Additionally, the Heat also named David Fizdale to assistant head coach and Juwan Howard to assistant coach.

The New York Knicks added Jim Cleamons, Rasheed Hazzard and Brian Keefe and Joshua Longstaf to their coaching staff on Wednesday.

Per team policy, terms of the deals will not be disclosed.

Kurt Rambis will also serve as an assistant coach on Derek Fisher's staff.
