Cal's Leon Powe Recovering Well From Injury

Aug 8, 2005 5:27 PM

Cal's Leon Powe missed the entire 2004-2005 season due to injury, but he has reportedly recovered very well, as he was the MVP of the San Francisco ProCity League.

Powe averaged over 33 points per game in the league.

Cal now embarks on a five-game trip to Italy from Aug. 12-23, a trek that comes at a perfect time for a Bears team trying to integrate two vital players who did not play last season, Powe and Omar Wilkes.
