Samardo Samuels of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has been named Euroleague MVP for Top 16, Round 8.

Samuels scored 16 first-quarter points, added 11 more in the second and didn't stop until he had paced a much-needed 76-85 road win against Nizhny Novgorod and completed one of the best performances in Top 16 history. Samuels finished with 36 points and nine rebounds.

His performance index rating of 47 was not only the best in the competition all season, but tied for the third-best in Top 16 history.

Victor Claver has agreed to terms with Khimki Moscow.

Claver will replace Joffrey Lauvergne who recently joined the Denver Nuggets.

Claver was waived by the Nuggets following his trade to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Gal Mekel has signed with Nizhny Novgorod of Russia.

Mekel's deal has an NBA out clause in the offseason.

Mekel played four games this season with the New Orleans Pelicans following 31 as a rookie with the Dallas Mavericks.

Darius Miller has signed with Brose Baskets Bamberg.

Miller played five games this season with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Miller played collegiately for Kentucky.

Andrei Kirilenko has officially signed with CSKA for the remainder of the season.

Kirilenko said in a statement that at 34, "the time has come to think about ending my career at the professional level" and that he wants to do that at CSKA.

Kirilenko spent the 11-12 season with CSKA before returning to the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kirilenko then signed with the Brooklyn Nets before the 13-14 season.

Andrei Kirilenko will sign with CSKA Moscow when he clears waivers.

Kirilenko and the Philadelphia 76ers agreed upon a buyout this weekend.

Kirilenko was traded to the 76ers by the Brooklyn Nets in December.

Nando De Colo has been named the Euroleague Top 16 Round 7 MVP award.

De Colo tallied 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for a performance index rating of 29, which was the highest among any player on a winning team in this week's eight games. 

Free agent forward Andray Blatche is seriously considering a lucrative contract to re-sign in the Chinese Basketball Association, multiple sources told RealGM.

Blatche has been pursued by several teams in China, and has had progressing discussions to sign a deal there instead of a potential NBA return, sources told RealGM.

After deciding not to commit to an NBA team last offseason, Blatche joined Xinjiang in China and had a dominant season, averaging 31.1 points, 14.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 56 percent shooting from the field. The 6-foot-11 forward has fielded NBA calls since his return from the Chinese season.

Blatche, 28, has played nine NBA seasons — seven with the Washington Wizards and two with the Brooklyn Nets. He scored 11.3 points per game for the Nets last season.

Janis Timma -- the Memphis Grizzlies’ second round pick in the 2013 draft -- has begun to pursue a contract in the Euroleague with his NBA franchise uninterested in a deal for next season, sources told RealGM.

The Grizzlies have plans to fill their 2015-16 roster without Timma, leaving the 6-foot-7 Latvian forward focused on signing with a powerhouse team in Europe. Both sides recently discussed their future status.

Timma, 22, was the Grizzlies’ 60th overall draft pick and has remained on Memphis’ radar. He was named Young Player of the Month in January and has averaged 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists for BC VEF Riga in VTB league play.

Timma has played eight games for the Grizzlies’ summer league teams over the past two seasons.

Rudy Fernandez has been named Euroleague MVP for Top-16 Round 6.

Fernandez had 22 points on 6-of-7 two-point shooting, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals for a performance index rating of 38. The index rating was both his career high and the highest by any player in the Top 16 this season.
