Georgios Printezis of Olympiacos has been named Euroleague Player of the Month for April.

Printezis averaged 14.5 points on 60% two-point shooting, 5.2 rebounds and a performance index rating of 16.8 in six April games. But where he most impressed were Olympiacos’s three victories in the playoffs. There his numbers jumped to 18.3 points on 70.8% shooting, 5.3 rebounds and an averaged performance index rating of 22

Moussa Diagne — a 6-foot-11 center prospect out of Senegal — has declared his name for the 2015 NBA Draft as an early entry, a source told RealGM.

Diagne, 21, has played the past several seasons in the ACB league Fuenlabrada. This season, Diagne averaged 4.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and nearly one block per game.

Diagne is viewed as a potential second-round draft pick, intriguing NBA teams at the adidas camp in Italy last year. His agency, Interperformances, confirmed Thursday night that paperwork has been submitted to enter Diagne into the draft.

Mario Hezonja will declare for the 2015 NBA Draft.

Hezonja currently plays for Barcelona and is considered a potential top-5 draft pick.

Kristaps Porzingis of Baloncesto Seville has been named the winner of the 2014-15 Eurocup Rising Star Trophy.

The 19-year-old Latvian big man comes off a strong season - his second in the competition - for Seville, which he led to the Eurocup Last 32. The Eurocup Rising Star Trophy recognizes the most outstanding player in the competition who was younger than 22 years of age on July 1 of the summer before the season started.

Despite coming off the bench for all but three games this season and averaging less than 21 minutes per night, Porzingis led his team in scoring (186 points in 16 games, 11.6 ppg.) and index rating (13.1), while adding 4.1 rebounds and a team-best 1.2 blocks. He also shot 45.9% from behind the arc. 

Malik Newman has received interest from professional leagues in China and Spain, according to his father Horatio Webster.

“We have,” said Webster when asked if he and his son have heard from professional teams overseas. “One time he asked me about what it would be like overseas and then another time, he says ‘No dad I’m not going to do that.’ Of course I’m not going to make him do it.”

Emmanuel Mudiay reportedly signed for more than $1 million with Guangdong Southern Tigers, plus signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour. Webster told Scout that a similar figure has been tossed around to his son.

“We are talking around $1 million,” Webster said. “They’ll sell you on getting a shoe contract so you’d probably leave there with $1.5 or $2 million.”

Newman, a 6-3 shooting guard, is considering Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and NC State.

Newman is ranked No. 4 in the incoming college class of 2015 by ESPN.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have interest in Salah Mejri, a 7-2 Tunisian center currently playing for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has a club option on Mejri's contract for the 15-16 season, though they may not exercise it.

Mejri hasn't received much playing time this season.

The Brooklyn Nets have expressed interest in Darius Adams and received a commitment for him to play on their Summer League team, sources tell RealGM.

Adams, who played collegiately at Indianapolis, is currently playing for Laboral Kutxa of the Euroleague and Liga ACB.
