Shane Battier was awarded the Twyman-Stokes NBA Teammate of the Year award on Saturday.

Battier has spent the last three seasons with the Miami Heat and helped the team win back to back championships.

Battier has said he plans to retire after the season.

Chauncey Billups won the Teammate of the Year award last season.

Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo are joined on the NBA All-Rookie First Team by Trey Burke, Mason Plumlee and Tim Hardaway Jr.

On the All-Rookie Second Team are Kelly Olynyk, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Gorgui Dieng, Cody Zeller and Steven Adams.

Ben McLemore and Pero Antic were honorable mentions that narrowly missed the second team.

Jamal Crawford has been named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year.

Crawford previously won the award with the Atlanta Hawks. Crawford received 57 first place votes, while Taj Gibson received 49.

R.C. Buford has been named the 13-14 NBA Executive of the Year.

Buford is the longtime general manager of the San Antonio Spurs, who had never won the award despite their consistent high level of success.

Kevin Durant has been named 2013-14 NBA Most Valuable Player, with LeBron James and Blake Griffin finishing second and third.

Durant received 1,232 total points (119 of 124 first place votes), while James had 891 points (six first place votes) and Griffin had 434 total points.

Joakim Noah, James Harden, Stephen Curry, Al Jefferson, Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki, Carmelo Anthony, Goran Dragic and Mike Conley finished 4th through 17th.

Michael Carter-Williams has been named the 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Victor Oladipo finished second, followed by Trey Burke.

Mason Plumlee, Tim Hardaway Jr., Gorgui Dieng, Steven Adams, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nick Calathes also received votes.

Steve Kerr, who has been connected to the New York Knicks job, voted Hardaway as Rookie of the Year.

Michael Carter-Williams will be named the NBA's Rookie of the Year.

Carter-Williams averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.2 rebounds per game.

Carter-Williams was the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Kevin Durant will be named NBA MVP early next week, according to sources.

The most likely scenario will be a press conference on Tuesday and a pregame ceremony before the Oklahoma City Thunder meet the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

Durant led the league in scoring during the regular season with 32 points per game. He would become the first player to win both the scoring title and MVP award in the same season since Allen Iverson did it in 2000-01.

The NBA took a week off from announcing awards following the Donald Sterling scandal.
