Stephen Curry could become the first player in NBA history to defeat all four of his fellow All-NBA First Team members in the playoffs.

Curry and the Golden State Warriors swept Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans, followed by a six-game series win over Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Warriors are now one win away from defeating James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James are one win away from The Finals as well. This would also be first time in 30 years that the NBA's MVP faces the second- and third-place finishers. In 1985, Larry Bird faced second-placed Magic Johnson in The Finals after earlier meeting third-placed Moses Malone.

Stephen Curry and LeBron James headline the 14-15 All-NBA First Team as unanimous selections.

Also on the First Team are Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and James Harden.

On the Second Team are LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMarcus Cousins, Pau Gasol, Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul.

On the Third Team are Blake Griffin, Tim Duncan, DeAndre Jordan, Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving.

Twelve of the 15 All-NBA players were from the Western Conference, two days after two Western Conference teams receive the top two picks in the lottery.

Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, Tony Allen, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul have been named to the 14-15 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

Leonard, Green and Jordan are all on the First Team for the first time in their career.

On the All-Defensive Second Team are Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, Andrew Bogut, John Wall and Tim Duncan.

Rudy Gobert headlined the list of players also receiving votes along with LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Avery Bradley.

Leonard received 116 of 129 first team votes, followed by Green with 107 and Tony Allen with 88.

Bogut receives a $1.945 million bonus for being included on the Second Team.

Andrew Wiggins, Nerlens Noel, Jordan Clarkson, Nikola Mirotic and Elfrid Payton have been named to the 14-15 NBA All-Rookie First Team.

On the second team are Marcus Smart, Zach LaVine, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jusuf Nurkic and Langston Galloway.

Joakim Noah has won the 2014-15 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award as selected by the Professional Basketball Writers Association (PBWA).

The honor, named after the NBA’s second commissioner, is presented annually by the PBWA to the player, coach or athletic trainer who shows outstanding service and dedication to the community.

The other finalists for the award were Tobias Harris of the Orlando Magic, Greg Monroe of the Detroit Pistons, Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers and Zach Randolph of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Noah has dedicated himself to helping children develop a stronger sense of self through his Noah’s Arc Foundation (NAF). The foundation recently launched the “Rock Your Drop: The Drop of Consciousness” anti-violence initiative, which supports those affected by violence and encourages youth to express themselves through creative outlets like sports and art.

Jimmy Butler won the 2014-15 NBA Most Improved Player Award, the NBA announced Thursday.

Butler, 25, received 92 of 129 first-place votes and 535 total points from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors (11 first-place votes, 200 points) and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz (12 first-place votes, 189 points) finished second and third, respectively.

Jimmy Butler has won the NBA's Most Improved Player Award. The announcement will come later this week.

Butler rejected an extension offer from the Chicago Bulls and betting on himself will likely lead to a max contract in the offseason as a restricted free agent.

Butler received 92 first place votes and 535 total points.

Draymond Green finished second with 200 points (11 first place votes) ahead of Rudy Gobert with 189 points (12 first place votes.

Hassan Whiteside, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo also received first place votes.

Stephen Curry has been named the NBA's Most Valuable Player in what was more of a landslide than many expected.

Curry received 100 first place votes and 1,198 total points.

James Harden finished second, receiving 25 first place votes, 87 second place votes, 13 third place votes and four fourth play votes for 936 total points.

LeBron James finished third with five first place votes, 12 second place votes, 62 third place votes and 32 fourth place votes.

Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and Chris Paul rounded out the top-6 that all received 100 or more total points.

LaMarcus Aldridge, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin, Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard and Klay Thompson also received votes.

Stephen Curry will be named the NBA's Most Valuable Player.

An official announcement will come this week, likely on Monday between Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports also confirmed that Curry will receive the award.

Curry averaged 23.8 points per game (sixth in the league), 7.7 assists (sixth) and 2.04 steals (fourth).

James Harden was the runner-up in the voting.

Bob Myers of the Golden State Warriors has been named the NBA's Executive of the Year for the 14-15 season.

The Warriors finished the season with an NBA-best 67 wins.

David Griffin of the Cleveland Cavaliers finished second, while Mike Budenholzer was third.

The award is voted upon by fellow executives and not the media.
