European free-agent point guard Bo McCalebb is nearing agreement on a contract with a team in Europe, meaning no move to the NBA for now, sources told RealGM.

In an accomplished professional career overseas, McCalebb transformed himself into a star and an NBA-caliber player.

Several NBA teams maintained conversations with McCalebb throughout the offseason, and the 29-year-old had been more inclined than ever to enter the league, but none progressed to deliver a contract.

McCalebb averaged 11 points, three assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 56.9 percent from the field for Fenerbahçe Ülker last season – his second year with the Turkish club. He became a free agent shortly before the start of the NBA's July free agency.

Partizan in Serbia has been widely speculated internationally as a possibility for McCalebb, but the club is out of the mix as the 6-foot product finalizes his decision, sources said.

Dario Saric signed a two-year contract with Anadolu Efes in Turkey and the biggest obstacle for him to come to the NBA before 2016 reportedly remains financial.

There is not a buyout in Saric's contract with Efes, meaning the only way the Philadelphia 76ers' first round pick can sign an NBA deal is if his current team lets him go.

Saric's father has reached a boiling point with Efes.

Daniel Orton has reached agreement with Shanxi of China on a $1 million-plus deal, a source tells RealGM.

Orton was released on Thursday by the Washington Wizards.

Orton played parts of last season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Maine Red Claws of the D-League.

John Holland is close to signing with Besiktas of Turkey.

Holland was with the San Antonio Spurs in training camp.

Last season with Gravelines in France, Holland averaged 10.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Mickael Gelabale has agreed in principle upon a contract with Besiktas of Turkey, sources tell RealGM.

Gelabale is finalizing details with Besiktas on an NBA out.

Gelabale last played in the NBA in 2013 with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Sportando first reported that Gelabale and Besiktas were in negotiations.

Michael Beasley has agreed upon a deal with the Shanghai Sharks of China.

Beasley was previously on a camp deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.
