Shane Larkin Out For Remainder Of EuroBasket Due To Hand Injury

Former NBA and European star Shane Larkin will miss the rest of EuroBasket after suffering an injury to fingers on his shooting hand. Turkish National Team head coach Ergin Ataman confirmed that Larkin would need surgery after being injured in a game against Montenegro.

In addition to missing the rest of EuroBasket, Larkin is expected to miss the opener of the EuroLeague season for Anadolu Efes. The veteran point guard struggled during EuroBasket play shooting only 33% while dealing with the injury.

This past offseason Larkin signed a two-year deal with Anadolu Efes that is reportedly worth over $7 million. The deal has an option for the second season and does include an NBA out if Larkin wanted to return stateside.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Ankle 'All Good' After Leaving Game In Third Quarter

Greece coach Dimitrios Itoudis said that Giannis Antetokounmpo's ankle was "all good" following their 90-69 win over Estonia in EuroBasket.

Antetokounmpo, who finished with 25 points in 19 minutes, left the game in the third quarter due to an ankle issue.

Greece play the Czech Republic in the round of 16 on Sunday.
