Ivan Rabb Delays Choosing Between Cal, Arizona

Mar 30, 2015 4:16 PM

Ivan Rabb has reduced his list to two choices in Arizona and California.

Rabb's announcement was expected to come after Bishop O'Dowd played Mater Dei in the Open Division California State Championship, which was played at Haas Pavilion home of Cal.

"I was planning on making it today, but I'm not sure right now," Rabb told reporters. "I don't want to rush into a decision... I just need to talk it over with my family."

Rabb is the No. 7 recruit in the incoming class of 2015.

Calipari: We Could Have $3 Billion In Created Wealth For Our Players Within Six Years

Mar 3, 2015 12:38 PM

John Calipari has created a great pipeline at Kentucky to send players to the NBA while achieving success within the college game.

“Recruiting is 24/7 but what recruits kids are results. We’ve had 19 players drafted here in the last five years, we’ll probably have six or seven off this team," said Calipari.

"We had three guys in the All Star game this past year. The results speak for themselves. We’ve had 31 guys go to NBA (including previous stops), with $820 million in created wealth and that doesn’t include shoe contracts, endorsements, or Anthony Davis, Terrence Jones, or Brandon Knight’s second contract or the guys currently on my team so you are probably talking well over $1 billion. Within the next five to six years, that could be around $3 billion in created wealth for our players. That recruits other players. Now we have to stay on top of it. I have to travel and make sure I’m at the gyms and they see me. The reality of it is, the best thing that sells is results,” said Calipari.

There are currently 18 players in the NBA that went to Kentucky.
