The Nets have signed Gerald Green for the remainder of the 11-12 NBA season. The Nets and Gerald Green are in talks for a contract that will extend into the 12-13 season. Gerald Green's second 10-day contract expires following Saturday's game. Gerald Green has played in five games, averaging 5.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game. Gerald Green returned to Boston on Friday during the middle of a 10-day contract with the Nets. Gerald Green scored 28 points in 24 minutes as the 2012 NBA D-League All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. Gerald Green is averaging 22.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per 36 minutes in 22 games this season. Gerald Green averaged 27.3 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the floor last week.
