Dwyane Wade represented the Heat at Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery and conspicuously gave the camera a confident wink when he was introduced.

Star Jones recently solicited me for an interview and asked me to write that a source 'close' to Wade confirms the wink was intended as a subtle sweet nothing to Jones.

"We are also in each other's five," added Jones.

My trusty Wikipedia says Starlet Marie was born on March 24th, 1962 while Dwayne Tyrone was born on January 17thm 1982. That's math I want no part of and probably couldn't handle.

The Heat ended up with the second overall pick and will presumably pick either Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley, depending on which player is selected by Chicago.

Wade and the Heat weren't terribly unlucky, but he left the swamps of Secaucus decidedly unsatisfied.

The Bulls were represented by Steve Schanwald and did not wink when he was introduced as he was incorrectly identified as Stan Schanwald. But if he would have winked, he says he would have sent it to rookie fireplug Joakim Noah.
