By Christopher Reina

We rank NBA players from highest to lowest by my Floor Impact Counter (FIC) for the entire season, not per 40 minutes or per game, which I decided to do because players are only truly valuable when they are on the floor.

Beside each player?s actual salary, we slide in raw salary figures, ranked top to bottom, which determines their ?deserved? salary. We use the actual salaries because players in general deserve whatever their agents can negotiate and GMs/owners can afford to pay.

The player who has the highest FIC receives the highest ?deserved? salary. The player with the second highest FIC receives the second highest salary. The player with the hundredth highest FIC receives the hundredth highest salary.

We then calculate the percentage increase or decrease from the actual and deserved and that determines their Reina Value, which is listed below in parenthesis.

Click here to see the full rankings, which are updated daily throughout the season.

- Rank, Player, Team, Season FIC, FIC40, Reina Value

1. Pau Gasol, LAL: 497 , 20.4 , 39%

Gasol's minutes are the highest they have been since the 05-06 season, which has been Phil Jackson's way of hoping to keep things afloat in Andrew Bynum's absence. Gasol's numbers are relatively the same as they have been ever since he joined the Lakers in 2008, though he has taken on a more active role as a passer.

2. Kevin Love, MIN: 474 , 21.6 , 438%

Love is making the predictable third-year leap on a predictably bad Minnesota team. It will be interesting to see how sustainable his 42.7% shooting from beyond the arc will be over a full season.

3. Deron Williams, UTA : 473 , 19.1 , 26%
4. Chris Paul, NOH: 441 , 21.5 , 26%

5. LeBron James, MIA: 440 , 18.3 , 26%

LeBron's rate stats have decreased across the board as expected and his days of 30.0+ PERs are likely over, but that was part of the bargain going in.

6. Russell Westbrook, OKC: 430 , 18.7 , 344%

Westbrook trails only Chris Paul in PER this season, as he is one of three point guards in the top-five. With the increased usage, Westbrook has upped his points per 36 minutes from 16.9 in each of his first two seasons to 23.0.

7. Al Horford, ATL: 428 , 19.7 , 227%

Horford has made a huge jump this season, increasing his PER from 19.4 to 24.5. Horford's assist rate has jumped from 10.4 to 18.4, which has undoubtedly contributed to the bump.

8. Amare Stoudemire, NYK: 410 , 17.5 , 8%
9. Josh Smith, ATL: 403 , 18.7 , 51%
10. Blake Griffin, LAC: 395 , 17.4 , 230%
11. Lamar Odom, LAL: 394 , 17.8 , 114%
12. Dirk Nowitzki, DAL: 394 , 18.1 , 0%
13. Raymond Felton, NYK: 393 , 16.3 , 145%
14. Dwyane Wade, MIA: 378 , 17 , 17%
15. Paul Millsap, UTA: 378 , 16.4 , 118%
16. Dwight Howard, ORL: 377 , 18.7 , -1%
17. Joakim Noah, CHI: 373 , 17.4 , 422%
18. Kobe Bryant, LAL: 364 , 17.7 , -36%
19. Steve Nash, PHX: 352 , 19.8 , 46%
20. Derrick Rose, CHI: 350 , 16.6 , 169%

21. Rajon Rondo, BOS: 348 , 18.9 , 64%

Rondo was the early leader of this rankings before being forced to sit for a few. His assist rate has jumped from 28.2% during the 07-08 title season to 39.7 in the KG-injury season, 43.7 last season and 53.0 this year.

22. Kevin Garnett, BOS: 343 , 18.6 , -23%
23. Chris Bosh, MIA: 336 , 15 , 0%
24. Al Jefferson, UTA: 334 , 14.3 , 11%
25. Luis Scola, HOU: 330 , 16.5 , 85%
26. Rudy Gay, MEM: 329 , 12.9 , 4%
27. Tim Duncan, SAS: 327 , 19.8 , -26%
28. Manu Ginobili, SAS: 324 , 17.6 , 16%
29. Monta Ellis, GSW: 322 , 12.8 , 24%
30. Zach Randolph, MEM: 316 , 16.5 , -23%
31. Marcus Camby, POR: 310 , 17.1 , 15%
32. Jason Kidd, DAL: 307 , 15.6 , 56%
33. Carmelo Anthony, DEN: 306 , 15.9 , -22%
34. Mike Conley, MEM: 305 , 13.4 , 170%

35. Kevin Durant, OKC: 304 , 14.6 , 117%

Durant leads the NBA in points per game, but his points per 36 minutes (24.8) and eFG% (46.7%) are both down dramatiically from the 10-11 season.

36. Tony Parker, SAS: 301 , 15.9 , -4%
37. Andre Miller, POR: 300 , 14.7 , 79%
38. Marc Gasol, MEM: 296 , 14.8 , 253%
39. Wilson Chandler, NYK: 295 , 14.1 , 487%
40. Eric Gordon, LAC: 293 , 13.5 , 309%

41. Elton Brand, PHI: 292 , 14.8 , -25%

The Sixers have been bad, but Brand has finally been a semblance of his old self.

42. David West, NOH: 286 , 15.1 , 43%
43. Roy Hibbert, IND: 284 , 16.8 , 600%
44. LaMarcus Aldridge, POR: 282 , 11.9 , 4%

49. Dorell Wright, GSW: 270 , 11.1 , 219%
50. Rodney Stuckey, DET%: 268 , 13 , 306%
