As the NBA looks to avoid the BCS Championship Game on Monday and NFL Playoffs on Sunday, those relatively unappealing games don't make the cut this week.

Tuesday:

Bucks @ Hawks- A statement game for both teams as the Hawks look to keep it rolling while Milwaukee looks to rebound after their absolutely brutal schedule thus far this season. This game also features one of the rare meetings of two legitimately All-Star worthy Centers in the form of Andrew Bogut and Al Horford. If either can put the other in foul trouble, it would be a major advantage for his team.

Spurs @ Timberwolves- These teams played an interesting game on Sunday and could very well do so again in Minneapolis. Kevin Love had 18/17 in their recent meeting and looks to repeat that performance against a Spurs team that won despite getting eight combined points from their starting big men.

Knicks @ Blazers- Portland, last year?s NNGW favorite, faces off against one of the major contenders for that honor this year at the Rose Garden. Even without Greg Oden, the Blazers are particularly well-suited to handle a big man like Amar'e Stoudemire and the Knicks? desired pace. Look for Nicolas Batum to play a major role here.

Wednesday:

Magic @ Hornets- If New Orleans was playing as well as they did earlier in the season, this would be an even more fun matchup. That said, Chris Paul and Gilbert Arenas going at it coupled with how Orlando handles the Hornets? big man combination makes this a potentially entertaining game the whole way through.

Knicks @ Jazz [Game of the Week]- Teams with clashing styles, compelling talent, and what should be a fascinating atmosphere in Salt Lake City. Deron Williams and Raymond Felton should play a huge role, and the Knicks will have their hands full trying to keep Al Jefferson under wraps.

Heat @ Clippers- Miami is a rare NNGW team since they play so many games on national TV. That said, this one is worth keeping an eye on during a slow sports evening, especially considering the athleticism on both ends.

Friday:

Bulls @ Pacers- If Indiana wants to stay in the playoff loop, they need to win games like this one. On the other side, the Bulls are actually under .500 on the road this season, and any improvement on that could yield major dividends in terms of seeding for the playoffs.

Clippers @ Warriors- Two young teams going at it. Beyond Baron Davis returning to Oracle (which is always fun), this game features Blake Griffin and David Lee going at it on the interior as Monta Ellis and Eric Gordon duel on the perimeter.

Saturday:

Mavericks @ Grizzlies- Memphis looks to build on some other wins against prominent teams here against a Dallas team that has only lost two road games all season. Look for the PG?s to play a major role in this one, as Jason Kidd and Mike Conley can help set the pace and control the game.

Nets @ Blazers- Who knows, the Nets might have a new Small Forward by this point?
