Multiple sources have confirmed to RealGM?s Christopher Reina that Gilbert Arenas has parted ways with his agent, Dan Fegan.

Fegan negotiated the six-year, $65 million contract that Arenas signed with the Wizards during the summer of 2003.

The contract paid off for Washington, as Arenas has made two All-Star games and led the Wizards into the playoffs in each of the past two seasons.

Arenas was drafted in the second round of the 2001 Draft by the Golden State Warriors .

Following the 2002-2003 season, a season in which he was named the NBA?s Most Improved Player, Fegan helped fuel a bidding war that included the Clippers and Nuggets. Since the Warriors were over the cap, they could only offer him their mid-level exception, which was approximately $4.7 million at that time.
