07/14/04: TRADE: The Lakers traded Shaquille O'Neal to the Heat for Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Brian Grant, and a future 1st round draft pick.
08/25/03: The Clippers refused to match Miami's offer for Lamar Odom. Odom is now officially signed to a six-year, $64 million contract with the Heat.
08/11/03: The Heat signed Lamar Odom to a six-year, $64 million offer sheet. The Clippers now have 15 days to match the offer and keep Odom or let him go.
04/12/01: Lamar Odom, Corey Maggette and Jeff McGinnis of the Clippers all had their team options picked up. McGinnis now has a guaranteed contract through the 2001-2002 season while Odom and Maggette are guaranteed through the 2002-2003 season.
