Rod Strickland was bought out of his contract by the Wizards. They agreed to pay him $2.5mil and release him which will allow him to sign with another team before the playoff roster deadline.

Todd Day was waived by the Timberwolves. His guaranteed salary will continue to be paid by the team unless he is claimed off waivers.
