Team Needs: Unless the team encounters a player that really catches their eye, I think that the Wizards fully intend on going big in this draft. A big man who can do some dirty work inside on the offensive end would be a much needed asset to a team that generally contains defensive-minded big men like Brendan Haywood and Etan Thomas. With Arenas, Jamison, Butler, Hayes and Daniels in the backcourt, they have no particular need for a point guard or swingmen.

Outlook: The Wizards continue to improve year in and year out and Eddie Jordan looks to be a formidable young coach who the players respect and get along with. The team would like to establish themselves as a viable threat in the East in any given year and will look to continue to build on the fly. Arenas is the team's cornerstone and they may want to defer to him when deciding what sort of player the team needs.

Most Suitable Prospects:
Cedric Simmons ? Simmons has an improving inside game and can learn on the fly. He has polished post moves, an effective close-range and mid-range shot and great patience for a big man. He will likely be something of a project, but seems like the type of player that Jordan can build up to succeed.

Hilton Armstrong - After years of practice and polishing at a successful program like the University of Connecticut, Armstrong could be ready to shine. Armstrong improved year in and year out, showed that he has the ability to get to the basket and has good end-to-end speed, which would help him fit into the Wizards offense.

Oleksiy Pecherov - The Wizards may look for a foreign player who can stretch defenses. Pecherov is most known for his offensive versatility and the team does not have a single big man like that. He isn't much of a banger, but with Haywood, Thomas and Ruffin, he doesn't need to be. Not much is known about Pecherov, but International players are easy to fall in love with during workouts.

Best Case Scenario:
The Wizards draft someone who is a good fit up front and gets along with Arenas.

Worst Case Scenario:
The Wizards select someone who does not fit into their team's system, since Jordan seems to really be shaping it up to be something special.
