The New Jersey Nets have requested waivers on guard Hassan Adams, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today.

Adams, a 6-4 product out of Arizona averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 61 games, including eight starts during the 2006-07 season. The 54th overall selection in the 2006 NBA Draft appeared in six postseason contests for the Nets during the 2007 NBA Playoffs totaling two points in nine minutes.
