Shawn James will pass up his senior season at Duquesne to enter the NBA Draft, according to The Associated Press. James was one of five basketball players shot on campus in September of 2006. The 6-foot-10 center entered his name on the early entry list for the Draft, but he finally hired agent Steve Cronin, eliminating his chance to return to school this fall. "Shawn's a great kid, and I wish him great success as a pro," Duquesne Coach Ron Everhart said Thursday night. "Nobody deserves more success than Shawn James." James turns 25 in September. |
