Free agent forward James Jones appears to be the best option for the Pistons, according to The Detroit News.

The Pistons have both the mid-level and veterans exception to either retain some of their players or sign some new blood this summer.

They are rumored to be interested in Jones, Mickael Pietrus, and C.J. Miles.
