Rockets 'guard Rafer Alston will go to trial on Oct. 22 over a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Houston Chronicle.

"We just wanted to get it done soon," attorney Rusty Hardin said, adding that he expects the trial to take about two days.

Alston was charged on Aug. 7 after being pulled over by police in Houston.

If convicted, Alston faces up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
