Nets' center Josh Boone had to be taken to hospital during practice on Friday after he complained about "chest discomfort", Julian Garcia of the New York Daily News is reporting.

After being examined by a doctor, Boone returned to the Nets' training facility before practice concluded, but according to the report he is expected to miss today's practice and a preseason game at Boston Sunday.

Nets' president Kiki Vandeweghe said that tests did not reveal anything serious.

"A subsequent examination by the team trainer as well as the team doctor did not reveal any further symptoms," Vandeweghe said in a statement. "Josh will have further tests on Monday."
