Lamar Odom hyper-extended his right knee in the second quarter of the Lakers' loss to the Hornets on Tuesday night.

He left the game and did not return.

Odom will undergo an MRI exam Wednesday and will not join the team for its trip to play the Warriors in Oakland.

"I hyper-extended it bad," Odom said as he walked with a noticeable limp. "There's some swelling. I'll get an MRI (today), and we'll see."
