Celtics' Head Coach Doc Rivers said on Thursday night that he wants all of the team's free agents back in town next season, according to The Boston Herald.
James Posey, Sam Cassell, Eddie House, P.J. Brown, and Tony Allen will all enter free agency this summer.
"We would like to bring our whole team back," Rivers said. "Pose we love. With P.J. we just don’t know. I talked to him right after the season, and he just didn’t know. But I told him that he had to go home and think about it. I would like to have P.J. back - our goal is to bring everyone back - but he’s going to need some time."
"Sam just didn’t have long enough (to learn the system), but we want him back, too," Rivers added. "All of these are guys we have to talk to, but we do have to try and pay all of these other guys off."
"I’d be happy with trying to bring them all back. The problem will be trying to do it," he concluded.

Free agent point guard Sam Cassell has expressed interest in playing for the Nuggets, and the team could make a play for Chicago's Kirk Hinrich, according to report in The Rocky Mountain News.
Cassell wants to play one more season in the league and is likely considering the Nuggets because of his relationship with George Karl.
Having drafted Derrick Rose, the Bulls will be looking to clear out some space in their backcourt. Hinrich is expectedly by many to be traded by Chicago before the start of the 2008-09 season.

Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the Washington Wizards have received cash considerations from the Boston Celtics in exchange for the draft rights to Bill Walker. Walker was initially selected by Washington with the 47th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
“Earlier tonight we added a player in JaVale McGee who has a chance to become a very solid player for us,” said Grunfeld. “By trading the rights to our second-round pick, we were able to add to our flexibility going forward.”
