McGrady, Wells Miss Practice With Flu-Like Symptoms

It appears as though something is traveling around the Houston Rockets' locker room. Just one day after Yao Ming sat out a game because of an upper respiratory infection, Tracy McGrady and Bonzi Wells missed practice with similar symptoms, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Yao returned to practice on Monday, but the status of both McGrady and Wells for Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors remains in question.

"There's something going around," Rockets' coach Rick Adelman told the Chronicle. "I have no idea (of either players' availability today). I really don't."

Yao Sits Out Game With Infection

Yao Ming sat out the Rockets' game Sunday against Utah with an upper respiratory infection, according to a Associated Press report.

Yao told team officials he felt sick when he arrived at the Toyota Center for a workout on Sunday morning, Coach Rick Adelman said.

"The doctors looked at him and they don't think it's worth the chance," Adelman said. "We'll just have to move on."
