Baron's Latest Blog Endorses Obama

Baron Davis's latest blog entry has showcased his support for Barack Obama in this fall's presidential election, according to Yardbarker.

Davis wrote on Saturday about how inspired he was by Obama's speech on Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention.

"Hope ya'll watched Barak Obama's acceptance speech Thursday night. If he didn't move you maybe the sound was turned down," Davis wrote. "When it was over I felt like I was ready to go out to Venice Beach and start registering people to vote right then at 9pm. We've got to show up on Nov. 4th to vote this man into the White House!!! FOR REAL!"

Warriors Taking A Look At Livingston

The Warriors were scheduled to take a look at free agent point guard Shaun Livingston in Chicago on Thursday, according to a report in Contra Costa Times.

Chris Mullin claims that the workout was scheduled before the Warriors learned that starting point guard Monta Ellis would be out for three months after having knee surgery.

As of right now Marcus Williams will be Golden State's starter, with C.J. Watson the backup.

Baron Lobbying For Spot On 2012 Team?

Baron Davis was one of the many people who stayed up late to watch the Gold Medal game between the United States and Spain. He was left impressed with Spain, proud of his fellow Americans and longing to play in London.

"Spain balled their asses off - can't wait till Rubio makes it to the league," wrote Davis in his blog. "He's a gem. Portland should be nice too, with Oden AND Rudy Fernandez coming in (did you see that nasty one-hand over Dwight Howard, are you kidding???).

"It would be an honor to play for the gold in London 2012 to keep the Olympic title where it belongs, here in the US," added Davis. "What a dream come true."
