Orlando May Make Move For Maggette

The Magic could make a move for Corey Maggette within the next few weeks in an effort to bring him back to where he begin his career, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

He has until Monday night to opt out of his contract with the Clippers and has reportedly been telling friends that he wants Orlando to make a competitive offer for his services.

"I think he'd come back in a heartbeat," said a friend of Maggette. "It's something he'd love to see happen."

The Magic only have the mid-level exception ($5.8 million) to offer, but they could assemble a deal worth roughly $40 million over five years.

Redick '100%' Certain He'll Stay In Orlando

J.J. Redick is supremely confident that he will be playing for the Magic next season, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

The team said on Monday that they have no plans to trade the sharpshooter this offseason, whether it be on draft night or later this summer.

In a recent blog entry, Redick confirmed his status.

"The Magic have some decisions to make this offseason -- free agency, trades, and the draft. But I believe 100 percent I'll be back with the Magic," Redick wrote.

"In fact, I don't even think it's an issue. I just need to get better and earn Stan's trust and get some minutes. We shall see."

Advisor: Walker Tore Knee At Predraft Workout

Kansas State's Bill Walker suffered a partially torn meniscus during a weekend workout with Golden State, Walker's adviser Chris Rivers of Reebok told several medial outlets, but will remain in the NBA Draft.

According to the Associated Press, the questions surrounding Walker's knee may have serious ramifications to Walker's potential draft position, with the second round now being a possibility.

He has previously torn the anterior cruciate ligament in both knees, the first of which happened in 2003. He missed most of the 2007 recovering from the second ACL tear.

In RealGM's latest mock draft, Walker is slated to go to Orlando at pick 22.
