Almost unheard of in the NBA, Antonio Daniels is undisturbed by going from being a starter to being a reserve, according to Jonny Ludden of the San Antonio Express News.

"I don't want to be out on the floor just to say I'm starting," Daniels said. "It doesn't matter to have someone say, 'Oh, wow, Antonio Daniels is the starting point guard,' if I'm not doing anything with my time on the floor."

Daniels seems to relish the idea of being a spark off the bench.  Coach Popovich asked for his input before making rookie Tony Parker Daniels' starting point guard spot and Daniels was okay with it.  Coming off the bench, Daniels is getting only slightly reduced numbers and seems genuinely happy.
