The Indianapolis Star reports that star rookie point guard Jamal Tinsley is one very confident fellow.  In last night's game he shut down the Hawks Jason Terry with good defense in the fourth quarter and a barrage of words. "He's a good player, but I kept telling him he wasn't going to score on me the last 6 or 7 minutes," Tinsley said. "I kept telling him that."  Terry was hot for the first three quarters but went only 1 of 6 in the last frame. "By me talking to him and him talking back to me, I feel I'm winning. Know what I'm saying?"

But Tinsley's teammates won't let him escape the rituals all rookies must go through -- he has to show up early to practice with newspapers, orange juice and Krispy Creme donuts for all.  Luckily for him, Shawn Kemp and Tractor Traylor are not on the Pacers.
