Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports: After yet, another game in which Magic forward Grant Hill played limited minutes and left because of soreness in his left ankle, Magic Head Coach Doc Rivers said that Hill might get a extended rest. Rivers even used the words "until the playoffs."

"This ain't working," Rivers said of Hill's in-and-out status and what it is doing both to Hill's confidence and the team's. "It ain't."

Rivers said he plans to speak today with General Manager John Gabriel, who did not make the trip, and begin discussions on a more drastic approach.

"We're back down that same road," Rivers said. "It's a decision we really have to make very soon. I told Grant at halftime, "Even if you don't play again until -- if we make -- the playoffs, then you won't play until the playoffs.' We might have to do that."

Last night, Hill was limited to only 12 minutes of action and just two points, two boards, and an assist against the Washington Wizards.
