Aaron McKie was placed on the injured list by the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday with a shoulder injury. He is expected to miss seven to 10 days.

McKie, a former sixth man of the year, started the first three games before asking coach Jim O'Brien to bench him and move Willie Green to shooting guard.

McKie strained his left rotator cuff in the third quarter of Wednesday's win against New Jersey. An MRI on Thursday showed no evidence of a tear.

The 76ers also activated guards Kevin Ollie and John Salmons and placed guard Kendrick Brown (low back strain) on injured reserve.
