Charlotte Bobcats star Emeka Okafor has been forced to skip this weekends rookie/sophomore game.

Okafor injured his ankle Jan. 30th against the Lakers and spent five games on the injured list because of the injury.  On Friday against the Miami Heat, Okafor reinjured the ankle.  The reinjury caused Emeka to miss the last three Bobcats games.

``I'm disappointed that I will be unable to play during the NBA All-Star weekend, but I want to do what's right for myself and the Charlotte Bobcats,'' Okafor said in a statement.

Okafor has had a very good year for the Bobcats averaging 14.8 points and 11 rebounds.  Okafor's replacement will be Al Jefferson.
