Nuggets guard Julius Hodge had successful surgery Friday that removed a bullet fragment from his left thigh, the team announced.
Hodge is expected to resume working out in a week and could play for the Nuggets' Summer League team. He had a disappointing rookie season that included a pair of run-ins with the law.
