Bobby Jackson thought he had one cracked rib, but it was revealed on Tuesday that he has five.
A CT scan Tuesday revealed the additional injuries, and the team said his status remains day to day.
"The new information we learned today explains why Bobby was experiencing such discomfort after Thursday night and eliminates the possibility of an injury to something other than his ribs," general manager Jeff Bower said.
