Rashard Lewis will be looking for a huge contract this summer and won't rule out the Knicks as a potential landing spot.

"Right now I'm going to be open to any situation," Lewis said yesterday. "I just want to see, get feedback from other teams.

"I want to see what team is really pursuing me or what team is just taking a shot at it because they know they have the opportunity."

The Sonics are confident they can re-sign Lewis. The Knicks' only chance of landing Lewis is to convince Seattle to move him in a sign-and-trade. The Knicks could offer a package including Seattle product Jamal Crawford.

"Rashard is vital to the team," said Seattle coach Bob Hill. "If the Sonics can't sign Rashard they should just start over."
