Jeff Van Gundy was in no mood to discuss his future with the Rockets in the wake of his team's 103-99 loss to the fifth-seeded Jazz.
"All that stuff next year is for another time," Van Gundy said after the fourth-seeded Rockets became the first to lose a home game in the series with the Jazz. "Tonight is about obviously a hugely disappointing result."
"Guys had a tremendous regular season and a great group, and we didn't play as well as we would have hoped in the postseason."
Van Gundy's status with the team has been the question on the minds of many after owner Leslie Alexander declined to give Van Gundy an extension, effectively forcing him to enter next season without a guaranteed contract.
