Suns Interview Thibodeau For Coaching Vacancy

The Suns have interviewed former Houston Rockets assistant head coach Tom Thibodeau about the coaching vacancy created by Marc Iavaroni?s departure.

And like Iavaroni, Thibodeau?s specialty is defense and would be a good counter to Mike D?Antoni?s strengths as an offensive coach.

Thibodeau spent the last two seasons with Jeff Van Gundy in Houston, where the Rockets led the NBA in defense and set franchise record for scoring defense and field goal percentage defense.
