John-Blair Bickerstaff has been hired as an assistant on the staff of Timberwolves coach Randy Wittman, the team announced Tuesday.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Bickerstaff spent the last three seasons as an assistant with the Bobcats under his father, Bernie Bickerstaff.
It is a homecoming of sorts for Bickerstaff, who played his last two college seasons at the U. of Minnesota and was a radio broadcaster for the Timberwolves during the 2003-04 season.
