After years of passing on the likes of Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Marcus Williams, the Hawks have to address one of their biggest needs, the point guard position. They will do so when they have the greatest leverage ? two top-11 picks in Thursday's NBA draft ? general manager Billy Knight and coach Mike Woodson both said Monday.

Woodson isn't sure who that new point guard will be, a veteran or a draft pick, but both he and Knight acknowledged that the draft ? and whatever possibilities it affords ? will produce a new face in the Hawks' backcourt.
