Stern Derides KeyArena Effort As 'A Late PR Stunt'

NBA Commissioner has labelled Seattle's latest efforts to upgrade Key Arena 'a late PR stunt', the Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting.

Stern made the comments on ESPN radio, but it has not deterred the efforts of Seattle to keep the Sonics.

Stern said that the move comes too late in the game, and that if Mayor Greg Nickels had "done this a year ago, we wouldn't be having the conversation."
