The NBA has downgraded the flagrant foul accessed against Kenyon Martin from a flagrant two to a flagrant one, the Denver Post is reporting.

The foul occurred late in the game at Cleveland when Martin, less than two minutes after earning a technical foul, slammed into a Cavaliers opponent during a pick. Coach George Karl was adamant that the play didn't warrant a flagrant-two, and Martin said, "It's basketball man -- it's a contact sport," Martin said. "It's not bowling or table tennis."
