Magic general manager Otis Smith says that reports of the Celtics inquiring about guard J.J. Redick are not true.
"Nope," Smith said. "I haven't talked to Danny [Ainge, Boston's top executive], so I don't know how that can be out there. I can't remember the last time I've talked to him."
Reports claimed that the Celtics offered the Magic forward Bill Walker and guard Gabe Pruitt for Redick, but that Orlando turned down the deal.
