Celtics forward Paul Pierce bruised his left knee in the team's loss to the Hawks on Friday night.
"It's a little tender," Pierce said. "I'm just going to wait and see how it feels when it cools down. On the play, I was falling and my foot got stepped on.
"I sort of turned it, so it was a light sprain in the knee. I'm just going to ice it right now and see how it feels a little bit later."
Pierce headed to the locker room with 3:15 left in the third quarter, but returned at the start of the fourth.
