Warriors guard Monta Ellis will have his sprained right ankle evaluated before the club reveals the injury's significance.
Golden State announced Friday night that X-rays were negative and suggested the injury is not serious.
There are different theories as to when Ellis suffered the injury, but it appears to have been during the first half of Friday's game against New Jersey.
Ellis is averaging 26.1 points, 5.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds this season.
