Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has clarified recent comments that have led to growing talk that he could sign with the Knicks after the 2011 season.

Anthony said during Denver's trip to New York last week that "anybody" would love to play at Madison Square Garden.

"Nah," he said when asked if he was hinting that he could play for the Knicks. "I was just talking to the media. They asked me 'How does it feel to play in The Garden?' And I said 'Anybody would love to play in Madison Square Garden.' That's all I said."

Anthony is currently nearing the end of a five-year, $80 million contract he signed in 2006.

"I'm still under contract here," Anthony said. "I can't think that far ahead. I'm just focused on this season and next season. I don't know what is going to happen in two years. I've been here seven years. I live here. It's my home. My home away from home. Like I said, in two years, I can't predict that what going to happen."
