The Nuggets will not trade Carmelo Anthony, regardless of what happens with his contract extension negotiations.
"There is no way we are trading Carmelo Anthony," the official said. "We're 100 percent certain of that."
The Nuggets have offered Anthony a three-year, $65 million contract extension that would keep him in Denver until 2015.
Anthony can become a free agent during the summer of 2011, but he would risk signing a new deal under terms of the new CBA.
