Team USA has warned a few players that are hovering around the cut line as the World Championships in Turkey get closer.

After a week of workouts in Las Vegas recently, 15 players were invited to training camp in New York.

"Certain players were told that they're right on the bubble and that New York is really very critical and important to them in terms of making the final roster," USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo said.

Six days of workouts in New York will begin on Tuesday.

The 15 players that remain in contention are: forwards Kevin Durant, Lamar Odom, Rudy Gay, Danny Granger, Jeff Green and Kevin Love; guards Chauncey Billups, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Andre Iguodala, Eric Gordon and Stephen Curry; and centers Tyson Chandler and JaVale McGee.

Colangelo said eight or nine spots seem set, leaving three up for grabs.
