Trail Blazers general manager Rich Cho and owner Paul Allen aren't going to grant guard Rudy Fernandez the release he desires.
Portland considers Fernandez an insurance policy should Brandon Roy or Wesley Matthews get injured.
"Things haven't changed," says Fernandez's agent, Gerard Darnes.
"He still desires to go back to Spain. But he is being professional, being correct with everybody. His teammates are treating him great. He's thankful for that."
