Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley left the team's game against the Heat in the second quarter on Tuesday night.

He had to be helped to the locker room after driving to the basket for a score.

Beasley immediately grabbed his left hip after falling on his side to the court.

He was quickly diagnosed with a bruise and was getting X-rays, which were negative, the Timberwolves said.

Beasley had notched 11 points in 10 minutes against his former team.
