The Trail Blazers plan to sign free-agent big man Sean Marks, according to league sources.
Marks will replace Fabricio Oberto, who retired due to heart issues on Thursday.
Marks was was one of five players invited to a Friday workout at the team's practice facility, and he beat out Earl Barron, Eric Boateng, Dwayne Jones and former Blazer Shavlik Randolph.
